For Higher Education Courses
You are an international student if you are not:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- A permanent resident of Australia
For TAFE Courses
You are an international student if you are not:
- An Australian citizen
- A permanent resident of Australia
- An East Timorese asylum seeker
- A Temporary Protection Visa (TPV) holder
If you are not an international student, you can find further information about applying to Swinburne as a domestic student at the Future Students website.
If you are not sure whether you are a domestic or international student, submit a copy of your passport visa page to us and we will confirm your student status.
