English Language Courses (ELICOS)

English language courses are offered at a variety of levels so that students can enter the course best suited to their needs to reach the English language level required.

If you wish to undertake further studies at Swinburne after your English language course, follow the steps on How to Apply for a Swinburne TAFE, undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.

On the application form, you will be asked 'Do you intend to undertake English language studies at Swinburne?' - tick the 'Yes' box and complete the section below, indicating when you wish to start and how many weeks of ELICOS training you wish to undertake.

If you just wish to improve your English, follow the steps below:

Review the English Language Courses available. Choose the course and number of weeks you require for General English study by looking at the entry requirements.

Step 4 - Accept your offer

If your application is successful, Swinburne will send you an offer package - then you can follow the steps to accept your offer.

Please note that you may extend your ELICOS course provided you meet visa regulations.
