IDP Student Mobility Scholarships
In association with IDP Education Australia, Swinburne University of Technology is offering up to five scholarships to the value of AUD$5000 per student towards living/travel costs. The scholarships are available to students wishing to undertake studies in either a Swinburne Study Abroad program or as part of a Swinburne Exchange program.
Application Procedure
Step 1: Submit a Swinburne Education Abroad application through the normal admission process (via Swinburne’s representative agent or the students’ home institution). For details: http://www.international.swinburne.edu.au/edabroad/incoming/apply.html
Step 2: Complete the Scholarship Application Form.
Step 3: Email the scholarship application to Ms Karen Docking, Manager, Swinburne Abroad kdocking@swin.edu.au by 31 October 2008, and together with one original letter of reference and one certified copy of the most recent academic transcript, as per application requirements.
Eligibility Criteria and Nomination
All scholarship applications received by Swinburne University of Technology by 31 October 2008 will be considered. Candidates will be assessed based on a number of factors including academic merit, leadership potential as well as other desirable qualities.
Swinburne may nominate up to five scholarship candidates to IDP Education Australia by 7 November 2008. Candidates nominated by Swinburne for the scholarships must fulfil any conditions relating to their admission into either a Study Abroad or Exchange program for 2009, otherwise their nomination may be withdrawn.
