English Language Scholarships
Thinking about starting an English language course (ELICOS) at Swinburne College?
Swinburne's Deputy Vice-Chancellor English Language Scholarships reduce your weekly tuition fee (A$340) by 10 per cent or more. Scholarships depend on the commencement and duration of your course, as well as your country of origin.
Study Lilydale Scholarships
The Study Lilydale Scholarships provide international students with an opportunity to experience the refreshing learning and living environment of the Lilydale campus.
Eligible students will receive the Study Lilydale Scholarship which reduces the published course fee by 10 per cent per annum for the duration of the degree.
All students who enrol in an on-campus, single degree at Lilydale are considered for the scholarship – no separate application is required.
Australian Scholarships
The Australian Government's overseas aid program aims to increase access to and the quality of education and training for people in partner countries.
It brings under the one umbrella existing scholarship programs managed by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) and the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST), and introduces a new AusAID managed awards program - Australian Leadership Awards.

Bachelor of Circus Arts Scholarships
Commencing international students who enrol in the Bachelor of Circus Arts in 2009 may be eligible to receive a scholarship reducing their tuition fee.
The scholarship reduces the fee by 10 per cent for each year of the course duration. All applicants will be automatically considered and successful candidates will be notified in their letter of offer.
Bicentennial Scholarships (Chile)
A partnership between the Government of the Republic of Chile and Universities Australia will allow Chilean students to receive substantial financial help to study in Australia.
The Bicentennial Scholarship provides an opportunity for up to 500 successful students to receive a monthly stipend, as well as a contribution towards living and studying expenses.
As part of the application, students will be able to provide three preferences for the institution at which they wish to study.
Study Melbourne Scholarships (China)
Swinburne International is pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Study Melbourne Scholarships. The scholarships were open to commencing students from the People's Republic of China (PRC).
They are valued at $23,000 each and were funded by the Victorian Government to promote study opportunities to international students and to address skills shortages in biochemistry, biotechnology, engineering and information technology.
Student Mobility Scholarships
(Study Abroad and Exchange Only)
IDP Education Australia has made available Student Mobility Scholarships to promote access to international education and research opportunities for students around the world and in Australia.
MACC Scholarships 2009 (Malaysia)
The 2009 MACC Scholarship (Malaysia) was awarded to Bridget Annabel KINSIK for the Master of Business (Human Resource Management).
The scholarship is in support of the Malaysia Australia Colombo Plan Commemoration (MACC), and provides funding for a Malaysian citizen to study a masters program of the student's choice in Australia.
The scholarship is valued at up to A$9750 per semester over three consecutive semesters and is awarded on academic merit.
FUNED Postgraduate Scholarships (Mexico)
Swinburne offers four 25 per cent tuition waiver scholarships each year to Mexican students to study at Swinburne in Fundación Mexicana para la Educación, la Tecnología y la Ciencia (FUNED) approved programs.

AustraLearn Scholarships 2009 (US and Canada)
The following AustraLearn scholarships are available to students from the US and Canada:
- Two US$500 tuition waivers for students commencing the Swinburne Study Abroad program.
- Two US$3000 tuition waivers for students commencing a full degree program at Swinburne.
Selection is based on academic merit and a 250-word statement of intention.

Australian University Scholarships (Thailand)
The Australian University Scholarships are provided by Australian Education International (AEI) Bangkok and Swinburne International to postgraduate students from Thailand who are commencing a PhD at Swinburne.
The first round scholarship for 2009 has been awarded to Sutipong Kiatpanichgij. Second round recipients will be announced in June 2009.
