The Faculty of Higher Education, Lilydale offers scholarships to assist international students with the cost of studying in Australia and recognising the academic achievements of students.

Eligibility / Selection criteria

Any international student completing an Australian year 12 course (delivered in Australia) who applies for an undergraduate single or double degree course delivered at the Lilydale campus. Students must commence studying in semester 1.

Selection will be made based on academic merit. Retention of the scholarship will be subject to satisfactory progress.

How to apply

All eligible students with a high ATAR score who apply for a degree at the Lilydale campus by 10 Jan 2012 will be automatically considered for the scholarship. Successful candidates will be notified by 16 January 2012.

Course applications must be made direct to Swinburne or through an international agent.

Study Lilydale Scholarship

Study Lilydale Scholarships

Commencing international students who enrol in an on-campus, single undergraduate degree at Lilydale may be eligible to receive a Study Lilydale Scholarship.

The scholarship reduces the published course fee by 10 per cent for each year for the duration of the degree. The fee reduction is off the published fee and does not apply to double degrees.

The Faculty of Higher Education, Lilydale offers courses in Business, Communication and Social Science.  Students can combine majors and minors from all three course areas.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The scholarship will apply to new commencing international students enrolling at the Faculty of Higher Education, Lilydale from 2009.
  • The scholarship is available to undergraduate courses for single degrees. (Double degree courses are excluded).
  • Students must not be receiving any other form of Swinburne scholarship or fee reduction.
  • Annual retention of the scholarship will be subject to satisfactory progress.

Please note that there is no separate application required. Eligible students will automatically receive the scholarship at the time of enrolment.
