The English Language Centre at Swinburne University's Hawthorn campus offers courses designed to prepare international students who want to study in Australia, or wish to improve their English for social or career purposes. |

Swinburne's ELICOS programs range from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced levels, and from 5 to 40 weeks in duration, so you can enter the course best suited to your needs and reach the English language level you require.
Program fees are A$340 per week for any of the English Language programs offered at Swinburne in 2006. There are no additional application, enrolment or materials fees.
The English Language Centre sets your start date so that you can complete your ELICOS program and be ready to your chosen academic course at the right time. You do not need to choose your ELICOS start date - the English Language Centre will recommend a start date on your offer letter.
