We can arrange accommodation for your first few weeks in Melbourne, for more information visit our Arranging Temporary Accommodation page. Once you have arrived you will need to arrange permanent accommodation before your classes commence.
Accommodation for Students Who are Under 18 Years of Age
According to Swinburne Policy students who are less than 18 years of age must live with either a DIAC approved relative* or apply to live on campus at Swinburne Residential College or apply for Swinburne approved home-stay accommodation.
*
DIAC will approve the following relatives: parent, grandparent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, step-parent, step-grandparent, step-brother, step-sister, step-aunt, step-uncle, step-niece, step nephew. Final approval rests with DIAC.
