Health Cover Renewals

To study in Australia, all international students are required to obtain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

As of 1 January 2007, all International Students studying at Swinburne University will be required to have OSHC for the duration of their student visa.

You will receive an Overseas Student Health Cover membership card. The card indicates a membership expiry date. It is your responsibility to renew your OSHC membership before the due date expires.

You can renew your OSHC with OSHC Worldcare by:
•  Visiting an on-campus representative at Hawthorn, Prahran and Lilydale. (EFTPOS or credit card only).
•  Visit Swinburne International who will be able to process your cover.
•  Online by credit card, or by telephone 13 OSHC (67 42)
•  The traditional application form with a cheque or money order.

Please remember to bring your current OSHC membership card when renewing your OSHC policy.

OSHC is condition 8501 on your student visa. Breaches in your student visa conditions may incur serious consequences.
