SwinMates - Mentor Program

SwinMates is a Mentor program at all campuses which matches Swinburne students (like you) with semester or year-long Exchange/Study Abroad students who come from overseas to study temporarily in Australia at Swinburne University.

SwinMates pairs two students together so that they can meet, talk, go out and share experiences and cultures. Exchange students make many Australian friends, learn about Melbourne and talk about their home country.

Swinburne students make international friends, practice a foreign language of interest, learn about another country they plan to visit and have fun. Being a mentor in the SwinMates program is a valuable experience, and students benefit with gaining experience for their Resume and networking within an International community, as well as benefiting on a personal level.

Our incoming Exchange/Study Abroad students are automatically signed up for a "SwinMate". For applications to be involved, Local Swinburne students can come to the Education Abroad Office or download a SwinMates application form (PDF 28KB)
