What is the Asia International Business Tour?
The Asia International Business Tour is a
two-week overseas study tour which will take students to Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2009. The tour exposes students to international business practices, as well as the views of managers and
senior executives from many organisations. It includes visits to a wide range of organisations and lets students experience how culture impacts on international business
activities.
This study tour is part of the Global Business Practices and Culture (LBX300) unit, a Stage 3 unit in the Bachelor of Business program at Swinburne. It may also be undertaken as an elective unit in any degree program.
When is it?
The Asia International Business Tour departs Winter term 2009, to Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Who can go?
The Asia International Business Tour is available to all Swinburne undergraduate students. To be eligible, you must have completed eight units of study by the time of departure.
How do I find out more?
Refer to the Study Tours section on the Higher Education, Lilydale website for more information.
An information session will also be held on Monday 15 September 2008 from 12.00pm in Room LD118. This is your chance to find out more about the study tour from the academics and talk to students who have been on previous tours.
