We'll look after you
It is a big step to make the move to study and live in another country.
We understand this, which is why we offer support in your studies and your life outside Swinburne.
New 24-hour hotline
From 2010, Indian students studying in Australia will enjoy access to a free 24-hour student assistance hotline that caters to their specific needs.
It will provide you access to information and services to enhance your physical, emotional and professional wellbeing during your time here in Australia.
You will be able to make contact easily with doctors, legal practitioners and trained counsellors. This service complements the many other student support services we offer.
Stay tuned for more information on this brand new initiative.
Accommodation
Melbourne is Australia's second-largest city, so deciding where and how you want to live is important.
There is on-campus accommodation available at Hawthorn and Lilydale, where you have the choice of living in a student apartment or residential college.
Perhaps you would rather share a house or an apartment with other students, or prefer the family environment of a homestay.
No matter what your choice is, we have a dedicated Accommodation Officer that can assist in finding a housing option that will suit you.
