International Student Life and Careers & Employment offer a Completion of Studies Seminar for all graduating international students.
The workshop includes important information and advice regarding the completion of your students, whether you plan to return home or remain in Australia.
All students:
- Graduation and Awards – Advice on the application process for your award and attending your graduation ceremony.
- Swinburne Alumni Association – Tips on staying in touch with other graduates.
- Leaving Your Accommodation– Handy tips for moving out
- Lunch
Students remaining in Australia
- Visa and Immigration Update – Special guest speaker
- Careers and Employment – Australian work culture, making the most of your Swinburne degree
- Community Connections – For students remaining in Australia, linking in to your local community
Students returning home
- Careers and Employment – Useful tips on international career search and employment opportunities.
- Swinburne Student Development and Counselling – Tips on readjusting to life back home.
- Freight Options – Packaging, pricing and by air/sea comparison
Please note that the Completion of Studies Seminar is compulsory for all graduating AusAID students.
