Message from Vice-President (International and Development) regarding Turkey and Thailand

The Swinburne community has been aware of the real difficulties faced in Turkey and Thailand this week. On behalf of Swinburne I would like to express our deepest sympathies, concern for and awareness of the plight of the families and friends of our Turkish and Thai students and staff, and to those of heritage who may have family residing in those countries.

As Thailand continues to face its worst flooding in 50 years and the brave people of Turkey continue the search for survivors of Sunday’s earthquake, we would like to remind students of the many support systems and advice that may be of value to you at this time if you are affected in any way.

Please see the links below.

If you are directly affected or have not been able to contact family or friends in your country, you can register your details now with Swinburne International and an International Student Adviser can prioritise other student needs and contact you for a meeting to determine what assistance we can provide.
