Aims and objectives

At the completion of this unit, students should be able to:
  • Understand the processes of logistics from a global supply chain management perspective
  • Apply their knowledge of logistics’ intermediaries to effectively manage supply chains
  • Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the location of different facilities in a global context
  • Evaluate the tangible and intangible resources required for effective supply chain decision making
  • Coordinate logistics activities across supply chains
  • Choose between different options for effectively delivering logistics services
